Meet Ripley.

Yep, her new Geek-Mom named her after Ellen Ripley from the Alien movies.

How she came to live with me was an adventure for her. A little over a week ago I see these two puppies come into my yard and lay down and fall asleep. They look pretty skinny, one is a black and white Chihuahua, the other is Ripley. Not wanting two more dogs, (I already have a little cattle dog) I called the shelter to have them picked up.

In the mean time the owner shows up, with a language barrier he tells me the one is 8 months old, I didn't ask about Rip, I wasn't keeping her so it didn't matter. I tell the guy I had made the call to Animal Control (A.C.), but I would call them off. He hands me the dog and wants me to give them to A.C., he's walking to his car when he turns around, takes the B/W Chihuahua from me and drives away leaving Ripley with me for the A.C. THEY NEVER SHOW UP! Yep, my tax dollars at work.

The next day I take her to the local vets office. They don't take in local strays anymore, I'm stuck. So I try to give her away.

I made a video for her. Okay maybe Distructo-mode wasn't a smart time for a video but...

See, she is cute... No one would take her.

Well, now - I love the little beast, my dog loves her, even my fussy father loves her.

So she is staying.

If she grows into the ears she would be a small horse. *L*
